Tickets go on sale on Friday at 11 a.m. for the Halifax Seaport Beer-Fest, Atlantic Canada’s largest beer festival, which returns for its sixth year at the Halifax Seaport on Aug. 10 and 11.
Nearly 200 local, regional and international beers and ciders are offered at three sessions over two days: Aug. 10, 7 to 9:30 p.m.; Aug. 11, 2 to 4:30 p.m. and 7 to 9:30 p.m.
There will be live music by local musicians SoHo Ghetto, Keith Andrews and Petty Larceny, along with locally inspired cuisine from Taste of Nova Scotia restaurant members.
The afternoon session is $40 in advance, $45 at the door, and evening sessions are $45 in advance, $50 at the door. Tickets are available at the Ticket Atlantic box office, 451-1221 (1-877-451-1221) and online at www.ticketatlantic.com. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Prostate Cancer Canada Atlantic.
