MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID COURSE

A two day Mental Health First Aid course, which is a program of the Mental Health Commission of Canada will be held on July 30th and 31st from 8:30 to 4:30 pm at the Bloomfield Center, Room 108, 2786 Agricola St. Halifax B3K 4E1
Mental Health First Aid Canada teaches first aid skills to help someone who is developing mental health problems or is experiencing a mental health crisis. Anyone can benefit from learning mental health first aid. Participants will learn how to help people who are showing signs of mental health problems or who are experiencing a mental health crisis. The course does not train you to be a therapist, counsellor or mental health professional.
The cost is $120 for this two day course. (which includes a manual).
