Northern Lights Lantren Festival

Since 2003, the Northern Lights Lantern Festival has celebrated North End Halifax, and this year the 9th annual Northern Lights Lantern Festival will be no different. Last year’s festival saw 7000+ people, and this year will be bigger and better than ever. The Northern Lights Lantern Festival is a day of fun and creativity for all ages, where old friends run into each other and new friends are made.The festival is a celebration of the vibrancy and diversity of Halifax’s North End. It’s a community festival in the truest sense where everyone is welcome. There is no charge for admission, BBQ or activities. It’s a great way to celebrate the North End as a community. So, call your friends, grab the family or come on your own.
